The vision of Active Fife is “a healthier and more active Fife where everyone can enjoy and experience the benefits of being more physically active”.

The Active Fife Communities Team achieves this mission by developing and coordinating local programmes through:

  • encouraging and enabling the inactive to be more active;
  • encouraging  and enabling  the active to stay active throughout life
  • developing physical confidence and competence form the earliest age
  • improving our active infrastructure – people and places
  • supporting wellbeing and resilience in communities through physical activity and sport
  • improving opportunities to participate, progress and achieve in sport
