We strive to celebrate the many achievements that our pupils are involved in. Whole school assemblies and regular newsletters share these with other pupils and families and we continue to develop further opportunities for this to happen.

Lumphinnans Primary School is a multi purpose establishment catering for the mainstream education of primary aged children. The school building also incorporates a Nursery and Pupil Support Centre, serving pupils from West Fife. The school also has a Breakfast Club which runs from 8.00am - 8.45am (last sitting for breakfast is 8.30am) for Lumphinnans Primary pupils only. This is run by Client Catering.

Lumphinnans Primary School was built in 1892 and typifies the Victorian tradition in its construction. A wide corridor extends the full length of the school with classrooms situated on both sides opening onto it. We have disabled access for pupils and adults. In 2006, the school was further extended with the addition of a custom built games hall. Improving the school building continues through Fife Council planned maintenance projects.

School Uniform

School uniform is an important part of our shared identity and allows every pupil to feel included. School branding is not required and uniform can be sourced from any outlet.

• Dark trousers/skirt/pinafore (Black or Grey)
• Royal Blue sweatshirt or cardigan
• White shirt/blouse or polo shirt
• Blue/white gingham dress
• School ties are available to buy at the school office

P.E. Kit should consist of: Shorts, T Shirt/Polo Shirt, outdoor tracksuit and gym shoes.

We ask that children do not wear branded designer clothing or any football colours in school. However, branded school uniform can be bought from either the school office, the BE school wear shop in Kirkcaldy or online (border-embroideries.co.uk) We always keep stocks of pre-loved uniform in school for anyone who requires it. Please ask any member of staff.
