At Ladybank Primary School our Vision, Values and Aims go hand in hand with the positive Ethos we have established within the school. We are fully committed to recognising pupil's good behaviour and achievements both in school and beyond. All pupils belong to a House (Crawford, Eden, Victoria or Lomond) and collect House points throughout the week. These House points and personal achievements are celebrated on a weekly basis during whole school assemblies or within each individual class. We have strong links with the local community and our local minister from the parish church visits us regularly. We participate in community events and invite community members as well as parents into school for performances and special events.

Ladybank School is a split-site school with one playground. The annexe building houses the Nursery, Primary 1 and music room, while the main building houses the remaining classrooms, the main hall and the dining room. Both buildings are single storey and most parts are easily accessed by children and adults with mobility difficulties. In addition, we have toilet facilities that ensure all needs are met.

There is a garden area to the rear of the school that the children use as part of our outdoor learning programme.

The playground has a tarmac surface and is divided into 2 zones - One for the P1 & P2 children and the other for P3 - 7.

The school is well-resourced throughout. We have Wi-Fi across the main building of the school and netbooks are available for all children to use.

• Lunch 12.35 pm- 1.20 pm
• Afternoon 1.20 pm- 3.00 pm
• Interval 10.40 am-10.55 am
• Nursery Hours: 9 am-3 pm

School Uniform is available to order using our supplier directly which is BE Schoolwear (01361 810304) or My Clothing (0800 069 9949).

In line with council policy, there is an expectation that all children at Ladybank will wear school uniform.

• Red sweatshirt or cardigan with or without school logo
• White shirt/ White polo shirt
• Grey or black trousers, skirt or pinafore
• Red and Black tie
• Sensible black shoes - no trainers
