Dear Parent/Carer
Welcome to Kinglassie Primary School. We believe that your child should have the best possible education to enable them to make the most of their primary school years.
We encourage children to take responsibility for their own learning, to help and support each other and to acquire skills and knowledge that will benefit them throughout their life.
We provide a warm and friendly environment with extensive resources to support children's learning . A high standard of behaviour is expected and we encourage the wearing of our school uniform as we feel it helps children identify with their school.
We encourage parents to become involved with school life. There are many opportunities to help, from assisting with reading activities to accompanying groups on outside activities. We have regular family learning events which we encourage parents to come along to.
Parents meet formally with their children's teachers twice each year and are invited to work alongside their children at regular planned 'sharing our learning' and open afternoon sessions.
