The circuit has been designed to be a fabulous facility for a range of activities.  This includes duathlon, triathlon (using neighbouring Lochgelly High School Community Use swimming pool) time trial and criterium races as well as a range of unique events.

Please get in touch to discuss this with us so we can work with you on logistics and planning to ensure the smooth running of your special event.

Criterium Races

Fife Cycle Park is the ideal location to hold Criterium Race Events on a purpose build circuit.  The circuit has three race options that can be used in either direction with integrated timing loops on two parts of the circuit.  It’s undulating route is just enough to keep racers on their toes and witch a choice of configurations, you can change the technicality to meet your field.  If you’d like to hold a race at the Park we will discuss options with you to help with your planning.  All race options have been Risk Assessed by British Cycling so are approved for sanctioned and registered British Cycling events.  We will also advise you on facility risk assessment and spectator areas.

Our on-site meeting room in the clubhouse can also be booked separately to the circuit.

Community Use Plan 2023-2026

We have developed our first Community Use Plan, setting out 7 key commitments:

  1. Ensure that cost is never a barrier to participation and make it simple to book and pay
  2. Deliver an accessible programme of activities for every community
  3. Increase participation to improve physical and mental wellbeing and encourage greater social connectedness
  4. Work more closely with all partners to understand and address the needs of our communities
  5. Provide a more flexible model of delivery to ensure our communities have access to the right facilities when they need them
  6. Raise awareness of what Community Use is and guarantee everyone knows what opportunities exist in their area
  7. Commit to constantly improving our customer experience and continuously evaluating the service we offer

In accordance with other strategic documents such as the Plan for Fife, the Community Use Plan will focus our attention on breaking down the barriers to participation, supporting wellbeing and social connectedness and raising awareness of the opportunities available across Fife.
