Pre school & junior dance
Small children enjoy moving their bodies, so dancing – even though it might look like jumping up and down to you – comes naturally to them. And it is this type of movement that helps them learn what their bodies are capable of doing.
Ballet is an art form created by the movement of the human body.
It is theatrical – performed on a stage to an audience utilizing costumes, scenic design and lighting. It can tell a story or express a thought, concept or emotion. Ballet can be magical, exciting, provoking or disturbing. There are various types of ballet, including - classical ballet, story ballet and contemporary ballet.
Belly dance is an extremely unique and fun form of dance! It is referred to as Arabic dance is an Arabic expressive dance which originated in Egypt and that emphasises complex movements of the torso. Due to the range of body movements it can help increase circulation, help to relieve stress and increases balance. It can also help prepare the body for childbirth/ pregnancy.
Hip-Hop dancing encompasses the movements of break dancing and body popping. The focus of these classes is to build a foundation to develop dance routines. The benefits of hip-hop is that is a total body work out, and also is a great environment for children to have fun and meet new friends.
Get those toes tapping with our jazz dance classes! it is known as being fast and energetic, and incorporates big moves and leaps. As seen in some of the favourite musicals such as La La Land and Mama Mia, jazz has the ability to transport you to another world! Our Jazz classes are great fun for both adults and children.
