Roads and Transportation Services - Area Office (South)
Roads and Transportation Services is responsible for inspecting reported road defects/potholes and arranging any necessary repairs on the non-trunk adopted roads in Fife. A yearly assessment of road pavement condition is carried out, and the results used to compile a 3-year programme of works.

Responsibility for maintenance of the Trunk Road Network (i.e. M90, A823M, A92, A977 & A985) currently lies with BEAR Scotland Ltd (Tel 0800 587 1107).
