Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic we are following Scottish Government guidance when reopening access to our activities and facilities. We ask that you also follow the guidelines on physical distancing and help us all stay safe. Thank you.

  • Please wash hands before using any equipment
  • follow physical distancing rules
  • cough or sneeze into tissue or elbow, and
  • always be respectful and considerate of others.

Toilet facilities

Toilet facilities are open from 10am. Please follow the physical distancing signage for the queuing outside. There are separate queues for gents, ladies and a disabled/nappy change queue.

Facilities will be made available indoors for people to feed their child but it will be limited to one parent/1 child.

Play Area

The play area is now fully open. Please remember to wash hands before playing on the equipment.

The cafe is opening on Tuesday 21st July but all food will be sold from the serving hatch directly to customers waiting outside. We have also introduced additional outdoor tables to allow people to sit.

The menu will be predominantly ice-lollies, hot and cold drinks, with a limited selection of hot food to avoid waiting times. There will be children's boxes for younger children.

At the moment the park is full of wildlife but we would ask that feeding the ducks and swans is not done at the beach area to discourage them wandering through the picnic areas. Also if possible that alternatives to bread are considered.

If you have a cough, fever or loss or change in taste or smell you should stay at home and request a test online at
