There are a range of watersports activities that you can enjoy at Lochore Meadows. All activities are run by Fife Council’s Outdoor Education team.
Lochore is the perfect setting for learning and improving your sailing skills. Great scenery, sheltered bays and clean water are all the ingredients for a fantastic learning experience. There are courses for kids and adults. The centre is an OnBoard sailing centre, an RYA initiative to encourage young people to try sailing for the first time and provide the opportunity to keep going in the sport.
Open Canoeing and Kayaking. Have a go for the first time on a course or brush up on your skills at one of our PaddleNights. Lochore is a safe and fun place to learn new skills. If you already have some experience try one of our guided paddles which will take you to some of Scotland’s fabulous lochs, rivers and coastline in touring or Sea Kayaks.
A swim session with safety cover is available on the loch from Wednesday 4th May until early September from 6.30 till 7.30pm. This session is used by a number of swimming and triathlon clubs as well as individuals keen to train with safety support.
