Saturday 8th October, 10AM – 4PM

A FREE festival in the heart of Fife to awaken the inner cyclist in you!

Fife Cycle Park & Lochore Meadows Country Park

We’re kicking off the October school holidays this year with a fantastic cycling festival – and everyone’s invited!

Bring your bike or borrow a bike. And don’t worry if you’re a beginner or feel a bit rusty, this day was made with you in mind.

Split your day between Lochore Meadows and nearby Fife Cycle Park making use of the free shuttle buses running between the two sites,  walk or cycle between venues.

There are lots of cycling activities for children and adults to try. They are free, and there’s no need to book.

Events include:

  • Performances from The Clan – Scotland’s cycle stunt team
  • Mini mountain bike introduction on the Lochore trails and skills track
  • Short leisure rides around the loch
  • Play on the pump track
  • An intro to Cyclocross short course
  • Advice and support for adult returners/learners
  • Learn to ride drop-in sessions
  • Balance bike activities
  • Adapted bikes and Cycling Without Age bikes to try
  • Medals are up for grabs for kids who try it all!

Make sure you take a look around our marquee and surrounding areas for:

  • A vintage bike show
  • Drop-in bike fix
  • Local business stalls
  • Food vendors
  • Cycling in Fife information
  • Health advice
  • Face painting

So, lots to encourage and inspire Fifers back into the saddle or onto it for the first time! It’s the perfect way to learn about and try out different types of cycling with friendly coaches on hand to offer advice and support you.

Fife Council is bringing you this festival event thanks to The Community Cycling Fund which is a joint initiative between the 2023 UCI Cycling World Championships and EventScotland.

It is being delivered by the Council’s Active Fife teams with supported Fife’s strong cycling community of clubs, volunteers, and businesses.
